Haydn creates new music in December!
15.12.2022
December is a busy time for musicians, with many artists releasing new music in the lead-up to the holiday season. This year, I released two new songs, "Slow Dancin'" and "High Life," which showcase my versatility as an artist and my ability to blend different genres together.
The first, "Slow Dancin'", is a pop and ballad-influenced track that features a slow, sultry beat and no vocals. The absence of vocals adds a sense of mystery to the song, allowing the listener to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. The song has been praised for its smooth, seductive sound and its ability to transport the listener to a different time and place.
The second track, "High Life", is an EDM and electronic-influenced song that is full of energetic beats and synths. This song is perfect for getting the party started and the lack of vocals allows the music to take center stage, allowing the listener to fully immerse themselves in the electronic soundscape. The song has been described as a "high-energy anthem" that is sure to get anyone up and dancing.
Overall, both "Slow Dancin'" and "High Life" showcase my ability to blend different genres and create unique and engaging musical experiences. Whether you're in the mood to slow dance and reminisce, or to get up and dance the night away, these songs have something for everyone.

Haydn explores and expands his music!
10.12.2022
Currently, I am on a mission to expand my musical horizons and explore a wide range of styles and genres. I am constantly seeking out new and exciting music to listen to, from the familiar and well-known to the obscure and experimental. This means delving into different cultures and time periods, from the ancient melodies of the Middle East to the contemporary beats of electronic dance music. I am also experimenting with different instruments and sounds, from the traditional guitar and piano to the more unconventional and avant-garde. Through this process, I have discovered a wealth of amazing music that I never would have known existed if I had stayed within my comfort zone. This journey has not only broadened my musical tastes, but it has also opened my mind to new ideas and perspectives, and has given me a greater appreciation for the diverse and rich tapestry of human expression.
Haydn performs at Battle Of The Bands at St Andrews Anglican College!
3.9.2022
On the 3rd of September, I had the opportunity to showcase my skills as a pianist and performer with my band "The Flying Monkeys" at the Battle Of The Bands competition at St Andrews Anglican College. We decided to play two contrasting songs to showcase our versatility as a group: ACDC's classic rock anthem "Highway To Hell" and the indie-pop hit "Television" by Rex Orange County. As I sat behind the piano, my fingers danced across the keys, bringing the energetic and powerful opening riff of "Highway To Hell" to life. My bandmates joined in with their instruments, creating a lively and engaging performance that had the audience clapping along and singing along. Next, we transitioned into the more laid-back and introspective "Television," with my emotive piano playing complementing the soulful vocals of our lead singer. Overall, it was an exhilarating experience, and we were thrilled to receive positive feedback from the judges and the audience. It was a great way to end the third term of the school year and get our creative juices flowing.
